Together with the ABSOLVENTI.cz platform we give students real projects, contacts with successful graduates and a place at national conferences. And after your maturita (school-leaving exam) we won't lose sight of you.
Talent journey
You record every project in your CV and portfolio in the ABSOLVENTI app. Your experience grows with each year and we help you at every step.
1st year
For example by organising the EDURUN run: marketing, budget, sponsors and hosting. Save the result and diploma to your portfolio.
2nd year
The school garden, the sign on the building, a memorial place for Dr. Beneš – projects that everyone walking past the school will see.
3rd year
Help organise the #ČESKObudoucnosti conference or present your project at Talent Česka. You will meet people who shape Czechia.
4th year
Draw know-how from the most successful graduates and mentors. Ask for support – the school's graduates are happy to help.
after maturita
With a portfolio full of real results and a network of contacts that you will build throughout your life.
Student projects
Students designed the projects themselves, costed them, defended them before the school management and raised the money in fundraising campaigns on ABSOLVENTI.cz.
An overgrown yard between the buildings became a garden for teaching and relaxing. Of four student designs the best-documented one won, and the money was raised through a campaign on ABSOLVENTI.cz. We opened it on 2 September 2022 with the mayor, the region and graduates.
Class 2. B returned the name of Obchodní akademie Dr. Edvarda Beneše to the school building – after more than 70 years. Donors from CZK 100 have their name on a memorial plaque in the school. The unveiling took place on 6 January 2025.
Third-year students are preparing a memorial place with a bust and an information plaque that will connect the school's history with the values of democracy and civic responsibility. They have already presented the project at the Talent Česka 2026 conference.
Support the project (in Czech)
A 3 km and 6 km run and walk from the school through Háje park. The whole event is organised every year by first-years: sponsors, promotion, programme and prizes – in 2026 the winners received running shoes made on our 3D printer. The EDURUN concept is spreading to other schools in Czechia.
EDURUN.czA story that could happen to you too
Eliška Horová and Hana Dostálová started with a "small" school project to restore an inscription. Then they helped organise the #ČESKObudoucnosti conference, where they learned event management and marketing for real. Today they work on a nationwide project.
At #ČESKObudoucnosti 2025 Eliška gave her own talk about cooperation with ABSOLVENTI.cz and about her role as chair of the Central Bohemian Region Student Parliament.

Conferences and major events
4 June 2024 · Obchodní akademie
The Academy hosted a conference for school principals from all over the country, with over 80 registered. Main topic: the benefits of cooperating with graduates, using the Obchodní akademie after four years as an example.
1 October 2024 · CIIRC CTU Prague
The principal presented the Academy's involvement in ABSOLVENTI.cz, which the conference praised as an example of good practice. Third- and fourth-years met over 50 successful Czechs from science, technology and business at TechFair.
8 April 2025 · Obchodní akademie
Our school again hosted the strategic conference on talent development from primary school to career.
30 September 2025 · CIIRC CTU Prague
Class 3. C was part of the organising team – technical support, logistics, coordination of participants. Eliška Horová gave her own talk.
25 March 2026 · Kutná Hora
School management, two teachers and six students. The students presented their projects in the main programme and at the school stand.
