Maturita 2027: fewer exams, more practice.
From spring 2027 a new school model applies. In your maturita (school-leaving exam) you take at most four oral and practical exams, and one of them must be practical. Here you will find all dates, topics and criteria together.

- Practical exam in two parts: accounting and an elective specialist block with written electronic communication

Certificate instead of an exam
Have Cambridge B2? You can have one exam fewer.
A standardised B2 certificate or higher can replace the school-based exam in a foreign language. We hold Cambridge exams right at school.
How to do it
- Submit a written request to the principal by 31 March (for the autumn term by 30 June).
- Attach an officially certified copy of the certificate (you can have it certified at a Czech POINT).
- Don't have the certificate yet? The Statement of Results is enough – online it usually arrives 2–3 weeks after a computer-based exam and 4–6 weeks after a paper-based one.
