About EDURUNAt the Obchodní akademie (Business Academy) you choose your specialisation for 2nd year in May. Go through the offer in good time.
Elective subjectsAccounting starts at the Academy – four hours a week. Ask right away if something does not add up. It piles up.
In May you choose a foreign-language conversation class and seminars for 3rd year (both the Academy and the lyceum).
How the choice worksThe garden, the sign on the building, now a memorial place for Dr. Beneš. Come up with what comes next and raise the money for it.
Student projectsHave an idea for improving the school? In 3rd year you can push it through with a team and the town will pay for it.
Academy 4 weeks, lyceum 2 weeks, 6 hours a day. You can find a company yourself – or apply for Goslar (up to 6 places).
Rules and work placement report (in Czech)Description of the company, how its accounting is kept, one area in depth, a work diary, your opinion and the company's evaluation. Electronically and in a folder.
Start preparing for Cambridge B2 First. The exams take place right here and the certificate can replace the school part of the English maturita.
Applications are submitted together at school. Keep track of your choice of optional subjects too.
Maturita 2027Do you have B2 or higher? Submit a request to replace the foreign-language exam to the principal by 31 Mar 2027.

Students in years 1–3 take summary exams in key subjects at the end of the year. The point? To make you revise the material continuously and not arrive at maturita with gaps from second year.
The choice takes place in May through an online form. It applies to 1st and 2nd year of the Academy and 2nd year of the lyceum.
