Admissions 2027/28

Don't stress. It will turn out well.

We don't hold school entrance exams. What decides are the national tests in Czech and maths, your portfolio and your grades from primary school. Here is everything you need to know – and how to prepare.

Applicant portfolio

Your chance to show who you are

The tests show what you can do. The portfolio shows who you are and why you want to join us in particular. A maximum of four standard pages of your own text, up to 100 points.

Practice tests

Try real tests from past years

CERMAT publishes all assignments of the unified entrance exam for four-year programmes together with answer keys. The best preparation is to write a whole test against the clock and then mark it.

How to practise

  • Write the whole test against the clock as if it were real – CERMAT lists the current time limits for each test.
  • Write your answers on the answer sheet so you get used to it.
  • Start with the tasks you can do. Come back to the hard ones.
  • After marking, note what gave you trouble and we'll go through it in the course.

Exam day

What to bring and how it goes

  • A pen that writes black or blue. Not an erasable pen – when the sheet is scanned, the answers would be erased by heat.
  • Drawing tools for maths. You need nothing else.
  • A snack and a drink. The school also has a buffet and drink vending machines.
  • Your phone completely switched off in your bag.
  • During the break you can rest in the relaxation zones, play ping-pong or table football. The "STUDENT" Wi-Fi has no password.

If something goes wrong

Fall ill? Your parents must excuse you to the headmaster within three days. Otherwise you are not entitled to a replacement date.

Didn't get in? Don't be discouraged. Your parents can submit an appeal. Not all admitted applicants confirm their place, and freed-up places are filled in order of ranking.

How to get to us: about a 10-minute walk from both the bus and the train station. Parents can park below the hospital; near the school there are only a few two-hour spaces.
